Ciara Cole may have been destined to get the right answer to last month’s Campus Trivia. She’s an avid trivia player and she follows March Madness closely, so of course she knew that the 1969 Rams made it to the Elite Eight – perhaps most importantly knocking out the CU Buffs in the process.
A 2010 graduate of CSU, Ciara returned to campus in 2016 to work as Education Abroad coordinator in the Office of International Programs. While she doesn’t remember the 1969 season firsthand, as a basketball fan she knew where to find that information online. She has entered Campus Trivia several times, and regularly plays live trivia with Geeks who Drink around town.
In her job, she works with CSU students who are interested in opportunities to study in Asia, Oceania and aboard Semester at Sea, and manages a portfolio of exchange programs in that part of the world.
For having her correct answer drawn from among all the correct answers submitted, Ciara received the coveted CAM the Ram bobblehead, autographed by State Climatologist Russ Schumacher, the winningest Ram to ever appear on Jeopardy!, and a $20 gift certificate to the CSU Bookstore.
