University Distinguished Professor Manfred Diehl received the 2018 Distinguished Mentorship in Gerontology Award from the Gerontological Society of America, the nation’s largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to the field of aging. The GSA gives the honor to individuals who have not only fostered excellence in the field but have made a major impact by virtue of their mentoring, and whose inspiration is sought by students and colleagues.
